Rusty is always smiling, wagging his tail & eager to make new friends. He does great on a leash & is a very calm fellow. Someone come give this handsome fellow a home! When you sit, he calmly waits for pets & rewards you with kisses. He is a 3 yr old male Staffordshire terrier mix who weighs 55 lbs. Heartworm positive but Shelter Volunteer Network will help pay for his treatment.Adoption processOur adoption fees are: $85.00 for dogs/puppies that includes the spay/neuter, shots brought up to date, deworming, heartworm test, heartworm preventative, and microchip. Cats/kittens are $65.00 that includes spay/neuter, feline leukemia test, shots and deworming. We require that you complete an adoption application and meet with the adoption coordinator to pick out the right pet for your family. If you have pets in your home we require a vet reference. We will also need permission from your landlord if you rent. Once you have found your pet you will be entered into a contract to make sure that the pet is always provided for.Shelter locationHours of operation are Monday thru Friday from 10am until 5pm. Arrangements can be made to meet adopters/rescues after hours if needed.
