ARTIE is a petite fellow. When he came into rescue he weighed just 5lbs and is now up to 7lbs. 7lbs is a nice weight for this Oriental Shorthair. Artie is a foundling who has been in rescue recovering from his time out in the wilds. He's feeling great and his playful personality is showing now. While pretty gentle and does enjoy some cuddling, he LOVES to play chase with a toy or feather on a string, and also likes stuffed animals which he tosses about. He has a surprisingly high jump, and seems proud of his athleticism. He's very smart and likes to "talk", and listens to you as well. He's a nice companion. It seems likely he's been around other cats and maybe even dogs as well, but isn't currently in his foster home so don't know for sure. He is about 2yrs. old and has his neuter appt. May 10th. We think he would thrive in a cat experienced home that enjoys conversations with their cat. application, home visit, adoption feeApril 10, 2024, 1:10 am
