Adopt Yammer a Red/Golden/Orange/Chestnut - with White American Pit Bull Terrier

Yammer is a great dog! She is a very sweet and curious. A very food motivated creature who enjoys learning. This dog loves to swim, go for walks, and cuddle. She loves a good chew toy and has no history of mistaking household objects for something to be gnawed. She really is a great snuggler- loves to sit in laps, be held and hugged, likes to be close to her people. She can be nervous around new people in some contexts but is very loving and loyal to people she has relationships with. She can be protective and may seem pretty scary when she is scared. We've been working on her anxiety in a very social house for many years and think she'd do better in a smaller family that can provide a more consistent environment and schedule. It is a hard choice to rehome her and we'll take the time to find her the right fit. She could do well with other dogs, especially older or small dogs, but would prefer not to live with young children, cats, or small mammals. She is fine with chickens.
