Brownie is a 9-year-old girl that has been at the rescue since 2014 to no fault of her own. She was left tied to a tree when her owners moved away. Brownie used to be selective with other dogs but as she's gotten older, she has calmed down. We believe with proper introduction she could be ok. She loves people and at the rescue she is a volunteer favorite, but she will need time to adjust to a new environment due to being at the rescue for so long. She loves to play and go for walks. She is not a fan of children or too much going on at once. At this point in her life, she will do great at a home with another low to medium energy dog and older kids. She could be an only dog and be the happiest dog. Brownie knows some commands like sit, stay, in the yard, up, down, off and come. She loves to snuggle, give kisses and get belly rubs.
