Um, hello there. I’m Ophelia. I’m a 6 year old Shiba Inu and I’m just starting to be on the lookout for my forever family.My past life of breeding was pretty sketchy and as a result- I’m a shy girl. When I meet new people I prefer to watch vs being all up in their business. I’m also a Shiba and people who know my breed describe us as very cat-like dogs. I like pets and attention from my people, but maybe not strangers yet. I’m quiet and easy to have around the house.I am great with other dogs and I’ll need at least one in my furever home. I haven’t met any cats, but my foster mom suspects that they won’t be a problem either.I’m still pretty skittish around fast movements, loud noises, and new people. I will need a forever family that will be patient with me as I settle in to a new home and routine. Since I get startled easily, little kids are probably not a good fit for me at this time. Maybe older, quieter ones would be ok? A fenced in yard is a must too, so I can safely explore my new home inside and out.
