Bank is a senior guy who came to ACCT as an owner surrender on 8/9 after his owner no longer had space for him. Bank's owner shared he is housebroken, friendly, and loves to be outside. They also shared that he is friendly towards strangers, kids, but can be selective with other animals. Bank has been very friendly while here at ACCT and quickly has become a staff favorite. Don't let bank's age fool you, he is a senior who has a lot of pep in his step. Bank loves to get attention and run around playing with his favorite staff members. He has been very easy to handle while here and has been social with everyone he meets! Bank unfortunately has gotten a bad case of "happy tail while in the kennels. Due to Bank having happy tail, and the risk of it getting worse in the shelter environment, he urgently needs to leave and be placed in a home environment where his tail can heal and he can live out his golden years in peace. 8/11 per staff: I gave Bank a bath yesterday and he was so perfect and tolerant! 8/10 per staff: Bank was standing on his back legs at the front of his kennel when I approached him. He allowed me to leash him easily and tripped while exiting the kennel. He walked around with his ears back, an open panting mouth, a loose body, and a wagging tail. He greeted Nina and I with this body language, and allowed all over handling. He loves treats and is very messy with them. After a few minutes he laid down at my feet. Then he hopped up on the bench and sat next to me with a wagging tail. When I stopped petting him he would lick my hands to solicit more pets. He is a very sweet and tolerant dude.
