Gracie is a friendly and calm girl! She is new to the shelter, and we are learning about her. We do know she is very friendly and is adjusting to life in the shelter. Shelter staff are also working on leash training with her, as she has never been on a leash before. Gracie came from a home with multiple dogs and cats. Apply to adopt or foster her now!Adoption processThanks to the EnviroFlight Fur-ever Home Adoption Sponsorship Program, the adoption fee is $40 for adult dogs and $60 for puppies under the age of 6 months. The adoption fee includes vaccinations, flea/tick treatment, dewormer, and spay/neuter. Please check each dog's profile for sponsored, discounted, and/or $0 adoption fees. If you adopt an unaltered dog, you must agree to have the animal spayed/neutered at the veterinarian of your choice as soon as possible and within 3 months of adoption. We ask that the animal will be kept as a pet and treated humanely after adoption.Shelter locationGuests are welcome to visit and spend time with the animals. We encourage all guests to schedule appointments by calling and speaking with the staff. The Mason County Animal Shelter is located at 301 River Drive, Maysville, KY 41056 and has the following public hours of operation: MONDAY: CLOSEDTUESDAY: 11 AM to 4:30 PM WEDNESDAY: 11 AM to 4:30 PMTHURSDAY: 11 AM to 4:30 PM FRIDAY: 11 AM to 4:30 PMSATURDAY: 11 AM to 3:30 PMSUNDAY: CLOSEDAdoptions will be processed during public hours.
