For Silas "Cheese" doesn't just refer to the adorable smile he wears but it's also a reminder of one of his favorite treats. Trust us, with Silas around the cheese tax is mandatory. He doesn't discriminate on his treat type though and is great taking treats of all kinds. At just over one and half years old, Silas has a bit of puppy energy and doesn't like to stay still for too long. He loves to run and chase toys but also adores settling down and sitting on his persons lap. Silas loves practicing his training skills with volunteers and is very attentive when with his person - he just wants to learn and please. This active, wiggly goober has shown a playful interest in other dogs and done well with our hike group. Silas is one year old and weighs 46 pounds.
