Rocky Road is currently in a foster home- please call and leave a message at 415-506-XXXX to schedule an appointment to meet!Super cute and soft Rocky Road was dumped by someone in Tiburon. They must have thought that a domestic rabbit could survive out in the wild, but that's not the case. Fortunately she was found before any harm or worse could come to her. We sent her to gain some confidence and get a break from the noisey shelter. She settled in quickly and here's what her foster "mom" tells us about her: It's been so enjoyable watching Rocky Road come out of her shell. She'll need a quiet household where she can be calm to show her new family her funny personality. She loves to have space to run around and explore. Like most rabbits she doesn't enjoy being picked up but is fine being petted for just a few minutes. She doesn't seem to like other pets in the house. It appears she wants her humans all to herself! She has a very sassy personality so would do better with a rabbit savvy household. Rocky Road loves playing with stacking cups and woven chew balls. She also does really well free roam. She's been free roam (even at night) for at least a month now and hasn't chewed on anything she isn't supposed to. And, she gets more active when I'm around! She seems to enjoy the extra attention. With the right family, she'll grow even more confident and relax quickly. A home with no children would be best because she is easily startled by movement/noises. Her favorite veggies are bok choy, romaine and the occasional small piece of banana as a treat. Rocky Road is such a love and so deserves a second chance with a family that will keep her safe and sound inside..of course! Primary Color: Brown Secondary Color: White Weight: 4.9
