Arizona is a four year old Akita that was transferred from a local municipal shelter after surprising everyone when she went into labor. She's a big girl, but a gentle giant. At the shelter, she passed all of her temperament and behavioral testing, and was even used to help temperament test other dogs. Like most new moms, Arizona was very protective of her babies when they were small, and now that they are weaned and growing up, she's relaxing and feeling more like herself. She had surgery to fix entropion on her left eye, and is ready to find a forever where she will be treasured. Arizona is housebroken, crate trained, and loves being outside. She is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative, wormed, and microchipped with registration.
