Lucas is a sweet 12-year-old boy who warms the heart of everyone he meets. Lucas was found as a stray and brought to the shelter in rough shape, skinny, with an ear infection and very scared. Despite his hardships, we soon discovered that he is gentle and full of love and he has quickly become a volunteer favorite! Lucas loves to curl up on your lap or in your arms for long cuddle sessions. He has a soft purr and gazes deeply into your eyes wanting to communicate like an old soul. He seems to prefer women, as he really comes out and thrives with women who visit him. Lucas is ready and eager to find his forever home where he can enjoy easy days and gentle loving care in his senior years. He will make a wonderful pet for someone, especially a woman, looking for an adoring, soulful cat companion. Please note that Kingdom Animal Shelter is not a 'same day' adoption shelter. Box 462, St. Johnsbury, VT 05819. The application and release of information forms are available at http://www.kingdomanimalshelter.com/available-cats.html or you can pick them up from the shelter during adoption hours.An adoption counselor will review your application, contact 1-2 personal references and contact your veterinarian for a reference. Additionally, if you are a renter, we will contact your landlord for permission to have an animal in the household.
