Columbia is a sweet, gentle, affectionate, sometimes shy, medium haired, black, spayed cat who is approximately two and a half years old. Columbia was adopted a year ago, but her human mom recently moved into a home with other cats that bully Columbia and are causing Columbia to have extreme anxiety. Her owner wants Columbia to be happy, so she is looking for the right home for Columbia where Columbia will be loved and cared for and where she has a mellow, possibly older, cat friendly cat that she is able to bond with or where she is an only cat. Here is what her current owner has to say about Columbia: Columbia is the fluffiest little lady you’ve ever seen. Her favorite treat is Churu. She is a sweet angel, but can be anxious in loud or hectic situations. She has become a master ninja in her current situation, usually hiding somewhere to keep away from being bullied by the other cats in the household. Columbia needs a human with lots of love, patience, cat calming music, Churu treats and chin scratches for her and plenty of toys. Columbia loves to chase the laser pointer and enjoys her other toys, especially anything that rolls or hangs. She loves bird and squirrel watching from a perch by a window, especially when curled up next to her older, gentle, cat buddy. She rubs up against him and follows him around the house when the other cats are not around. Columbia will join her mom while her mom eats and take treats from her mom’s hand. When her mom lifts Columbia onto her lap, Columbia will purr up a storm while she is being petted. Columbia is a very sweet, gentle cat that needs to gain back her confidence. Columbia uses her cat scratcher and had meticulous kitty litter habits until she moved in with the cats that are bullying her. Once she is in her new, loving home and no longer being bullied by the other cats, Columbia will return to having perfect kitty litter habits. Columbia needs a quiet, patient, indoor only home with adults and possibly older, respectful, cat loving kids. She would thrive with a mellow, cat friendly, social cat who wants to mother, cuddle and play with Columbia and help boost her confidence. Columbia has been around a medium sized, cat friendly, mellow dog in her prior foster home and did fine with the dog. Columbia is spayed, current on vaccinations, treated for fleas and worms and chipped. Indoor only, $95 rehoming fee This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances.
