Baylor is a senior special needs cat who embodies gentleness and affection. She has a heart of gold. This happy camper is beyond grateful to have found a safe haven indoors, where she can thrive in the company of caring humans. Despite her challenges, Baylor's spirit remains unbroken, and she radiates love and warmth wherever she goes. This sweet girl is a joy to be around, as she adores human companionship and gets along famously with other cats. Baylor is incredibly easy to pick up and loves nothing more than being held close, basking in the love and attention of her favorite people. She'll happily follow you around, seeking pets and affection, or curl up next to you for some cozy cuddles. Don't let her petite size fool you – Baylor has a touch of sassiness that shines through when she's trying to make a point! She's a charmer, winning over new fans with every visit to the vet with her irresistible personality and adorable antics. Baylor does have some special needs that require a bit of extra care and attention but are easily managed. She was born with eyelid agenesis, which has left her with limited vision and hearing. Despite these challenges, Baylor navigates her world with grace and adaptability. She is also missing most of her teeth, but that doesn't stop her from enjoying her meals with ease. Baylor recently received a procedure on her eyelids so no future medical is necessary other than daily eyedrops. To help Baylor with her breathing issues, it is recommended that she have access to a humidifier to keep her comfortable and healthy. With the right support and a loving home, Baylor is sure to thrive and bring endless joy to her adoptive family. Not knowing she was friendly, she was brought in to be spayed. Then is when we learned this is a friendly cat, likely abandoned by her previous owners because she needed expensive eye surgery. Due to not getting the procedure on her eyelids in a timely way, she some of her vision in both eyes however she can see and get around easily. Since being in foster, Baylor has thrived. She is so grateful to be out of the cold. She must have been really scared out there, not being able to see predators that clearly.
