In Maryville - My names Nova! I am a 2 year old 29lb Aussie! I am UTD on all my shots, microchipped, monthy preventives and spayed. My favorite things are bonding with my current foster parents, running around with my doggy friends, and food! I play with toys occasionally, but I am more interested in playing with my human and dog friends! I am very food motivated, almost too motivated because my foster mom gave me a slow feeder! If you are looking for a vocal dog, I am the dog for you! Every morning I wake my foster mom up with some barks and whining! When my parents get home, I whine in excitement, when I'm jealous I whine for attention! I just have a lot to say! I back my voice up by putting my paw in front of whatever is keeping my foster moms attention that isn't ME! While I'm super food motivated I am allergic to beef so please be careful with treats and food ingredients! I am an active girl who loves to play, but I am skittish, so I get nervous in some outdoor areas. Loud noises, car rides and sudden movements really scare me. This will be something that I'll need to continue working on for a while, but I think I can overcome my fears if someone's patient with me! Because sudden movements and loud noises scare me, my foster mom highly recommends keeping me double leashed until I am calmer around these things to avoid flight risks! As mentioned I'm great with dogs, and I do well with cats, but sometimes I hyper fixate on my foster mom's cat! I am NEVER aggressive towards the cat, but whine at it wanting to play. Overall, I am a very happy pup who wants to play with you and lay in bed on your lap!
