Disco was stray. Born in the spring of 2023, Disco has energy to burn! We think he is a Border Collie mix and so he needs to have room to run and play - and possibly someone to boss around ;) Disco is good natured, but will need to be properly introduced to any current furry family members. Kids 8 and up should do fine with him. Disco is eager to shed this shelter life and get back to family living! Can you help him with that dream? All pets adopted from the Humane Society of Freeborn County will be spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, testing and will be microchipped. All of this is included in their adoption fee. Fill out an application to adopt at freeborncountyhs.org When transitioning your new pet home please allow for at least 4-6 weeks for your pet to adjust to their new home. They will need this time to decompress, and adjust to a new routine and environment. During that time we will provide check ins and counseling to ensure a successful transition. Please review all basic adoption requirements listed on our website before applying. We take finding the right homes for the animals in our care very seriously. They deserve nothing but the best! Please allow 2-7 days for applications to be processed. If an animal is listed in foster care, these pets are not at our facility, but are in foster care homes. They are still available for adoption, and meet and greets are done with pre-approved applicants only.
