I love my dog Bear more than most. I adopted him when he was 5 months old and was my favorite hiking buddy immediately. We spent all of Covid in the mountains where he hiked with me off leash every morning for 4 years. He is decent on a leash as well with the correct tone of voice he can be very well behaved. I had my daughter dec 2023 and as much as Bear wants to kiss her and be near her he gets too excited and is not the type of dog you want swinging his body around your new born. I have always spoiled bear, he used to sleep with me before I met my husband and always had access to a closet when the storms got bad. Once we started trying to keep him out of our bedroom in preparation for the baby he started to act out when storms hit and can be very strong willed to get to a bathtub or closet. We currently have him on meds which I do not think work much when the storms hit. He deserves to have the attention he used to and I am really hoping to find that person.
