Meet Basil! Basil came to us as a stray, so we are still learning about his likes and dislikes. Basil is a beautiful young male budgie. This gorgeous boy is nervous of hands and will need help from his new home gaining confidence. Around the time that Basil came to us, we also had another budgie in our care. We placed them side by side and they seem to really like each other! The other budgie got adopted and we are looking for a home for Basil. Because of Basil's positive interactions with budgies in the shelter, we think he will do well with another budgie with proper introductions. Do you think you could be Basil's person? Here are some ways to find out:1. Visit our centre to meet this pet during viewing hours at 3202 Norland Ave, learn more about their ideal match and apply to adopt in person; or2. Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit!Please note our adoption/viewing hours 1-5pm Monday to Wednesday and Friday.
