Meet Gavin! He is a very handsome1 yr old neutered male American Pitbull mix that weighs 72 lbs. He came into the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 5/2 as a stray. Walking through the shelter you pass by his kennel window and he will flash you a big smile that will draw you in to want to get to know him better. Gavin had a great time running through the shelter yard retrieving thrown balls, but he was quick to tell me that being inside is his favorite place to be. He is a sweet gentle loving guy that enjoys being petted and loved on. He walks well on a leash and takes treats gently. Its possible he maybe house trained too. He walked through the shelter with other dogs barking at him yet didn't pay any attention to them. If you have another dog in the home, please ask the shelter for a dog test. Can you give this lovely boy the home of his dreams? One with a secured backyard and a couch indoors that he can cuddle close to you on? He is waiting for you, come meet Gavin.
