She is a talkative little kitty who loves to express herself, especially when she wants some attention. Though she may be nervous at first, Joan Jett has made remarkable progress and will eventually reward you with endless love and purrs once she feels comfortable. Joan Jett is bonded with her sister, Alanis Morissette, and together they create a harmonious and fun-loving duo. Joan is playful and enjoys interactive toys and games, especially chasing wand toys. When she is playing you can sneak in a few pets & she will just purr & purr. She would benefit from a social, people loving cat to teach her that people are ok. If you have a temporary separate room where she can feel safe, the time, patience and love to offer, Joan Jett will become a loyal and affectionate companion. Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent. We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level. This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family. In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here: http://www.foreverfortunatefelines.org/adopt Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue. Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten. Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies. Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age.
