alexandrine ringneck rescues
They are healthier, ready for their forever homes.
Los Angeles, CA
I have 5 rescue alexandrine ringneck parrots. Varied ages. 2 pairs and 1 single male. 1 pair and the single have been tested for PBFD and have their paperwork (all false) They were in a bad shop so I bought them, fed them, made them healthier. They are not tame, as I believe they were left to be breeders. But they are inside with me now and are slowly getting along and even beg for food. Not too loud, thank god. The single male is losing feathers around his crown and tail, I believe he's molting badly since he finally has light and a good diet. The pairs show mating behaviors but I haven't had them long enough to know more. 1 pair is said to have the yellow mutation and the other, the female doesn't sit on her eggs but does lay them. I do have a large nesting box. I've spent a lot of money on them so I'm not going to let them go to just anyone. They will not be going back on a sunflower seed diet. If you know their tails you know they need a big cage. And lots of toys! There will be an adoption fee of course, email me your best offers and what you know about parrots. Again, they will not go to just anyone even if you offer $1000, I have to know they will be happy. If you want photos email me, pairs will not be broken up. If you know of any parrots that need saving let me know
