I have a 7 month old baby girl chinchilla named Lily she is gray and white on her belly and very pretty . She is very loving and friendlyand does not bite she can be held by older children and loves to play with her toys on the kicthen floor or some place safe . You don't .. Want to let her run loose in the house there delicate animals and need to live in there cage so they don't get crushed or eat or chew something that could hurt or kill them. These are Exotic animals and are fragile they loose there hair when really scared or nerous, there not like rabbits, or ginny pigs. Please make sure you know what you are buying before you buy her, i don't want to see her end up in the spca so i want someone who knows and loves these creatures. I love her and want her to have a great!!! home where she will get lots of attenttion. She loves timothy, carrotts. apples bit needs a store chinchilla mix in her cage at all times. she need things to chew on in her cage like special wood from petco that taste like apples i buythey hang from her cage. I have invested in over 200.00 dallors with her the cage and toys, and lava bath which needs clean lava dust after the dust gets to dirty{ SHE LOVES HER DUST BATH} once a week. she sleeps during the day and plays at night but, you can wake her during the day she will not be upset. i am asking $100.00 for everything.. to make sure she gets a great home because if you can't.. afford her she will end up in some spca down the road and i need to make sure that does not happen.
