fish tank + ALL equipment + fish + shrimp - $60 @stanford.edu
This is a 16-gallon fish tank with ALL the equipment imaginable that you need to have healthy awesome fish. We've had this tank for many years (and a few of the fish traveled from the UK a few years ago and are still happy and healthy). Our estimate is that overall with the equipment and the products (e.g., tests, medicines) there's easily more than 400 $ worth of products here. 1) Fish tank (Aqueon Kit LED Aquarium Widescreen) + top cover with LED lights (120 $ new) 2) A separate 1.5-gallon Tetra Water Wonders aquarium kit (used for quarantines, 22 $ new). 3) Fluval C2 filter (priced 35$ new) 4) A lot of media for the filter 5) Two automatic fish feeders (for when you go to conferences or vacation, 22 $ each). 6) A siphon kit (~10 $) 7) Air pump and a lot of tubes (~10 $) 8) Two nets 9) Two algae cleaning magnets (7 $ each new) 10) Marineland Maxi-Jet Pro Pump (19 $ new) 11) Heater (~12 $) 12) One liter of aquarium salt 13) PH test kit, high-range-PH test kit, Nitrate test kit, Nitrite test kit, Ammonia test kit (all are drops, API brand) 14) Paraguard, Methylene blue, ParaziPro, Algae remover, Ammonia remover, water condition, bacteria, Mardeel maracyn two, 15) And more ... The residents are: 1) Five Amano shrimps 2) Five White Cloud Mountain Minnow 3) One Zebra Danio 4) Two Hillstream Loaches 5) Lots of plants and driftwood and rocks (about 80 $) The only issue is that the glass has a tiny damage on 1 edge, where the aquarium glue is. It's been there for many years, and it hasn't caused any issues.
