Hey, Hoomans who may be my New Family! What an exciting thought! My name is Auggie. Some call me Auggie Doggy. Whatever you want to call me doesn't matter. Just come meet me! I'm kinda a big guy who is easy-going and calm. I know. I know. Big easy-going and calm guy sounds like that oxy-thing, like jumbo shrimp. Find it hard to believe? Come see me for yourself! The dogs I love to play with the best in play groups at the shelter are easy-going and calm, too. Pushy dogs, not so much. If you have other dogs already, let's meet to see how we all get along. I don't have much known history with cats or kids, although I'd probably like older kids better, maybe teens, not little kiddos. I love gentle attention -- petting, brushing, stroking. Long walks and adventures are my thing, too. I could care less about treats and toys here at the shelter. It might be a different situation if YOU were giving them to me. Take me home, and I will be your constant companion and best friend. We could have good times together!!!
