HEARTWORM STATUS: Tested Negative (on Prevention) EST. AGE: 8-9 months ADOPTION FEE: $250 Ladonna is an energetic, playful 8-month-old pup! She's spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines and prevention, and she tested negative for heartworms. She is very smart and eager to learn new things. She's a diamond in the rough, ready for someone with the energy to match her own. She's fantastic on a leash (though she's interested in squirrels). She is a great running buddy--if you need some motivation to get outside and enjoy the wonderful Fall weather and get moving, she's ready to help! Ladonna enjoys other dogs who can match her rough-and-tumble play style, but she can be overwhelming to dogs who don't enjoy rough-housing. She would be an ideal only dog, as her energy level is lower when she isn't focused on playing with other dogs. When by herself, she chills out and relaxes next to her people. She is learning to play fetch and can entertain herself with a chew-toy. She's about 50 pounds and won't get much bigger (other than putting on some needed weight). We expect her to top out under 60 pounds, with a smaller, athletic frame. She's got the ideal build for dog sports (like agility). She would thrive with an active lifestyle, and is ready to start obedience training. Upon adoption, all dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and microchipped.
