Hello friends and dog rescue supporters! This gorgeous girl is called Pumpkin and she is an Akita mix that simply takes your breath away when you see her in person. She is as AWESOME as she is GREAT in personality and temperament. She loves playing with other dogs and good with cats but honestly she is intimidated and scared of the cat. !!! This beauty is 55 pounds and is only 18 months old. She is spayed, HW negative and UTD on all her vaccines and preventives. She is a dead ringer for an Akita but without the thick shedding hair. We cannot say enough wonderful things about this girl with the sweetest attitude and loving personality. She is in a small town Tennessee shelter and she NEEDS OUT! The shelter workers love her and say she is a favorite. But she doesn’t belong in a shelter and she doesn’t deserve to languish there and possibly be on the short list one day for euthanizing because of her time being up. They are lenient but can only hang on to these dogs for so long. Hey Ya’ll its Fall and Pumpkin is ready to put some spice in your holidays. Won’t you maybe foster her or even better yet…..ADOPT PUMPIN and let her settle in with a family for the holidays !
