Young Sonia (named for her hometown of Gibsonia) was observed with her litter of kittens hanging out at a suburban home. Little more than a kitten herself, this young lady was trying to keep her 5 babies alive by hunting anything she could find in the area. The homeowners started to supplement her food and a trapping arrangement was made. Hungry as she was, Sonia was the first to be trapped and, fortunately, the babies did the same within a few days. All of Sonia's kittens are in their new homes. Now Sonia is searching for aforever home too! She would be fine in a home with other cats, but is a wary of new situations and people and will need a patient, loving family to giver her time and space to adjust.
