October came to us as an owner surrender because the family had too many dogs. Because there were simply too many for the family to care for, October is a little on the shy side. She is lacking in the confidence she would have if she had been well-socialized and loved as a puppy.But we aren't concerned. We can see the potential in this beautiful dog, and know it's just a matter of someone taking the time to show her how to be a dog. Another dog to pal around with and learn from would also be ideal for our October.For more information, please email Stephens County Humane Society at XXXX@att.net, or call us at 580-252-XXXX (PETS). Our animals are spayed/neutered, UTD on shots, and treated for ticks, & fleas. Cats are tested for FeLV & FIV; and dogs are tested for heart worms.Normal adoption fee for cats is $75.00; and $100.00 for dogs, but we frequently have specials running and/or animals who have had their adoption fee sponsored, so ... call us!
