**Courtesy Post** Dean is a handsome tri-colored Jack Russell Terrier male. This boy weighs 12 pounds and is 2 years old. Activities he loves include swimming, hiking, following me while horseback riding, and riding on the boat. He loves squeaky toys and is very sweet & affectionate. Dean is a lover and will cuddle and sleep with you if possible. He is active but not hyper. He gets along with other dogs and long term, will do best with a female. Dean is crate trained/potty trained, and is also up to date on all vet care: vaccinations, heartworm prevention, flea prevention, and microchipped. Like many other Jack Russell Terriers he does not like cats or other critters. He needs a securely fenced yard. We want him to be with an owner that is home at least part of the day. He is used to being with his owner and engaging in her daily activities. Leaving him alone all day will not be in his best interest. Kids are okay as long as they are over 12 years of age and are used to the terrier personality. His adoption fee is $200. A home visit and a good vet reference are mandatory to adopt Dean.
