Rocky is a special needs senior, but he doesn't know it! This gentle giant is deaf and has hip dysplasia (a deformity of the hip joint) and will need a family who is able to put some extra time into training and is willing to take on some potential future medial expenses. He does seem to understand how to sit, lie down, roll over, and give paw, but may not have learned specific hand signs and would benefit from a consistent household to help reinforce this training. He'll do anything for a treat, so training should be a fun adventure for all! Rocky is truly a bundle of fun and loves to play with humans and dogs alike, however he MUST meet any dogs in your household before adoption to make sure their personalities are compatible and they are able to communicate with each other.
