Chuck came to the shelter after having been gifted to someone experiencing homelessness. That person was unable to care for Chuck, so brought him to the shelter. He was initially scared and unhappy with all the staff at the shelter, but has warmed up quite nicely. This is a dog that really should go to an experienced JRT home without young children, and where they rarely visit. Chuck can learn a lot and wants to please, but he scares easily and unfortunately bit a staff at the vet's office when he as startled. Due to that history and his fear, he will not be the perfect dog for a lot of households, but we know there is a great lifelong adopter out there ready to love and advocate for this little guy. He's quite endearing once you get to know him!
