Meet handsome Buttons! He was surrendered to the shelter on 10/10 along with his bestie, Mildred. These sweet pups were not allowed inside with the rest of their family, so they created their own adventure by repeatedly breaking out of the fence. Instead of coming up with another solution, their family decided to surrender them. Mildred has now been adopted. We were told that both dogs are good with kids and other dogs. They will need work on house training since they were outside dogs. Both pups are shy and will need a kind, patient, and loving person/family to give them time to come out of their shells. Buttons is 1 year old, and he weighs 43 lbs. He is UTD on vaccine and neutered; he will be microchipped, and heartworm tested upon adoption. Please come meet him in run 857; his ID # is 649893. If this pet came in as lost (not an owner surrender), we don't know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained.
