Princess Leia is a sweet girl with just a hint of sass - a great personality mix! She's around 11 months old & weighs a slim 25 lbs. Leia loves other dogs & likes people once she has a chance to warm up to them. She spent her first 8-10 weeks as a feral puppy in rural Texas, so she is still getting used to the sights, sounds, & rules of living in a home with humans. Leia is crate-trained & does very well with going potty outside. She loves to play with toys & enjoys a hearty romp as much as quietly chewing a hard toy. Leia is a mix of herding dogs breeds so her ideal family will include older kids or just adults. She has a moderate energy level & likes to chill in a dog bed with a toy after she's had a good time playing. She does require a fenced in yard, so applicants without a fence will be skipped. Leia will make a person or family very happy with her silly antics, soulful eyes, & sweet disposition.
