Penny came from from a shelter in Texas where she gave birth to a single puppy the night before she was supposed to be euthanized. Unfortunately, this didn't change Penny and her new puppy's fate and the shelter was still going to euthanize them due to lack of space. At the last minute, Brave was able to find a foster home to take Penny and her puppy, Pogo. Penny has been a top-notch momma! Now that Pogo is weaned, it's time for Penny to find a new foster or home. Penny loves people and we imagine she will bond quickly with her new foster or adopter. She would do best as an only dog but she could find companionship with the right dog. She does have some resource guarding with things like bones and treats. Penny is seeking a new foster home to allow her a true pet (no more puppies for this girl!). Penny still needs spayed.
