This little boy is Rook. We are guessing him to be about 3 months old. He and his sisters "turned up" in different yards and porches in a fairly rural area in Pulaski County, KY, so we suspect that these babes (Magpie, Raven & Rook) were abandoned in a nearby woods. Rook is playful and active with his sisters in their foster home. While we are reasonably certain that they are black lab mixes, they are a little scruffy in the face, their fur on their backs is wavy, and their tails curl up over their backs, so we aren't quite certain what their mix is. Rook is scheduled to be brought up-to-date on vaccines, tested for heart-worm and tick borne disease soon. He has been treated for parasites and started preventatives. He will be neutered and micro-chipped when he is old enough, and is currently learning about house training.If you have any questions or would like to adopt Rook, please reach out to the adoption group directly.
