Lucy is a beautiful 7-year old female Chihuahua who was surrendered by her tearful owner on October 25, 2023 along with two other Chihuahuas (Bear and Simba) because she was no longer able to take care of her beloved pets. Lucy has a tan short smooth coat, a rather long body, a long tail, and an adorable face with classic Chihuahua features including large brown eyes, a slender muzzle, and magnificent extra-large erect ears. This little sweetheart loves to sleep beneath blankets (and loved to snuggle with her owner). Thanks to HSOV Humane Officer Fredley Tynan who lovingly carried Lucy out in her arms for her glamour photos on the afternoon of October 31st. Lucy was a pushover for attention and a natural for the camera lens while she posed like a professional dog model. We were thrilled when she had a potential adopter waiting for her in the shelter lobby when she returned from her photo session. Lucy weighs 10.4 lbs.
