Simba is a cute 6-year old male Chihuahua who was surrendered by his tearful owner on October 25, 2023 along with two other Chihuahuas (Bear and Lucy) because she was no longer able to take care of her beloved pets. Simba has a tan short smooth coat, a rather long body, a long tail, and a sweet face with classic Chihuahua features including large brown eyes, a slender muzzle, and large semi-erect ears. This little lovebug loves to sleep beneath blankets (and loved to snuggle with his mistress). His previous owner told us that Simba did not really do well with other animals or children. He has been kept indoors and is housebroken. Simba is missing hair on most of his body/tail due to a severe flea allergy. We look forward to taking updated photos when his coat has grown back in. Thanks to HSOV Humane Officer Fredley Tynan who accompanied Simba outdoors for his Petfinder/Facebook photos on the afternoon of October 31st. Simba looked adorable in his stylish jacket since the weather was fairly cool that day, and he loved the extra TLC which Fredley bestowed upon while he held him in her arms before heading back to his large blanket-covered kennel.
