Meet Henry, a beautiful yorkie boy who is being fostered in Murfreesboro, TN. Henry is 9.5lbs and will be celebrating his 9th birthday in November 2023. Henry will need to be adopted no more than 200 miles from his foster home. Applications greater than 200 miles will be considered if it’s the right fit for Henry. Henry was well loved in his former home and came to UYR when his owner unexpectedly passed away and extended family could not care for him. His extended family tells UYR Henry gets along well with cats, dogs, and well-behaved children. We haven’t been able to cat, or kid test him since he has only been with his foster family a short time, however, we can tell he is a good boy. Henry has been getting along well with his foster brothers and sister. He loves to play ball and has an assortment of soft squishy toys. Henry likes to play fetch and take away with his humans. He enjoys being outside chasing birds and leaves so a fenced in back yard or frequent walks would be ideal. Henry is not quite potty trained and has had a few accidents. We are hoping with neutering and more frequent potty breaks we will soon see improvements. Henry visited the veterinarian on 10/23/2023 and received his vaccinations and a microchip. Henry had lab work done and all his values were within normal limits. The veterinarian said Henry was a handsome boy in very good health. The veterinarian agreed Henry’s new family will be very lucky indeed. Henry was neutered and had his dental cleaning on 10/25/2023. During his dental cleaning he did have two small tooth extractions, but you would never know it. He still has his beautiful smile. Henry would be a terrific addition to any home.
