Pico.... Pico... De Guy-O at your service! They call me Pico because I'm spicy,but good spice like the fancy chipotle. I have all the energy of a typical young Miniature Pincher and can sail through the air after a or toy ,catch it , and be back at your side in a flash! Playing and exercise are very important to me. I'll lay calmly in our lap and Netflix and chill with a Kong... provided I get to play regularly and get all that athletic energy out. (Playing,toys,kongs with frozen treats are fabulous tools to keep Pico from chewing things that are not appropriate. He redirects very well. ) I sleep in my kennel perfectly and even cover myself up and tuck myself in at night. (Pico needs an extra blankee for his bed or kennel because he enjoys being completely burrowed in and covered for sleepies.) Potty training is going super well because not only am I an amazing athlete....I'm to top in my class for learning new skills. I never potty my kennel and very soon will be totally potty trained. I also know sit and stay because sausage treats are my favorite. If all that isn't enough...I have a beautiful shiny, tight coat that requires low to no grooming and sheds very little. You know that " Dog Smell ? Well you won't with me because...I don't stink! No fur messes on your sofa or in your car when we take off on adventures! An occasional bath and I'm good to go! Pico is a lean mean energy machine. He is also very affectionate and cuddly,but he is in need of someone willing to incorporate daily play and exercise along with training and affection. He can be leash reactive at first and play a bit rough,but with proper and slow intros he gets along well with other dogs and even cats that are dog savvy. He will chase a cat if they run..cat,squirrel, lizard ..whatever moves really. It is all in play though. He is in a multi dog and cat foster home and acclimating well. Pico is still mouthy and can play rough so I wouldn't suggest a home with small children or dogs that are dog selective. He would do best with an active person or family willing to take him for daily walks and or play and be consistent with his training and socialization. Who is ready for this boy?? He is ready for you!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)
