Ryder ‍Ryder is a very special guy to me. He is about 10 years old. He is a dachshund mix and weighs 20 pounds. He came from a local shelter with 3 other pups. They have all been adopted and he sits waiting for his turn. Ryder is on meds for his heart and on Lasix. Don't let that make you feel bad for him. Ryder acts like a young pup. He plays with other dogs and is always ready to go where you need him to. He's a happy guy that loves to cuddle. He is a very behaved pup. He is definitely a favorite of mine. Of course I do have a soft spot for seniors. They are just the best. He does have trouble holding his bladder due to taking Lasix. His foster mom uses belly wraps/belly bands to help with that. He gets let out frequently also. :) This guy has been passed over so many times because of this and I can't understand why. It is a little extra effort to care for a pup like him but in return you get a wonderful pup. Interested? Submit an adoption application!*We are a foster based rescue and do not have a facility.
