Lyla likes to sit proper, similarly to Marie from "The Aristocats"...because she's a lady, that's why! And while it's unknown if she's anyone's sister, she is a proud mama! Now that she's done raising her babies, she'd like a home of her very own. She was very stressed when she went from a foster home to the shelter (as anyone can imagine), but over the course of time, she's made so much progress! Now, Lyla even has a best friend! She seems pretty confident when she has her cat BFF with her (even in the presence of barking dogs right next to the outdoor patio!), so it's fair to say she may do very well in a home with other cats (and possibly docile dogs) after a slow introduction. It's recommended that she go to a home with older and respectful children, if any, since older children may be able to better understand boundaries while Lyla adjusts to a new home. Lyla loves to be pet, but she only seems to like being held on her terms...maybe that will change once she's safe and sound in a home!
