Hi, I'm Pauline! I'm around 5 Years old and I am a Shih Tzu mix. I get along wonderfully with other animals and would do well with children. I do have some trouble with my rear legs. The vet says its likely Neurological, as my X-Rays and Blood tests were clear. I am able to walk on my back legs, but sometimes if I am using them for a little too long, I will get tired and stop using them. I get around with no issues, and my legs dont stop me from being a sweet, loving, and spunky family member. At some point later in my life I may benefit from a wheelchair, but for now I get around just fine. I am currently in fostercare so If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an application at the shelter or online at www.chaadopt.org (please note Pauline is not at the shelter and to meet with her please turn in an application first so a meet and greet can be arranged, Thank you!)All cats and dogs adopted from the Chequamegon Humane Association are spayed or neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, and microchipped. Dogs are tested for heartworm and cats are tested for FeLV/FIV (results negative unless otherwise noted). A tax-deductible adoption fee of $150 is required for adult dogs, puppies are $200, and dogs over the age of 10 are $85. Adult cat adoption fees are $50, kittens under one year are $90, and cats over the age of 10 are $35.
