Description of pet Looking for an active dog? Come and meet Nova! She is 18 months old and weighs 41 pounds. One of our volunteer says: 'Nominated for best ears and off the charts personality!' Nova is very bright and knows the sit, down,sit/ stay and come commands. She will also offer you her paw to shake. She loves accompanying you on a walk and will go as far as you want. You will certainly get your daily exercise with Nova! She would also be an excellent hiking or running buddy. Nova has such fun playing with toys, and especially likes tennis balls and rope and squeaky toys. She adores being petted and really loves attention and affection. Nova has the speed and agility of an Olympic athlete and can scale a fence four feet or higher, so she needs to be carefully supervised when outdoors. She can also dash through open doors, so please be aware of this when entering or exiting. Due to her energy level, Nova would do best with older children. Nova would love to be the only animal in her new home, where she can be a pampered princess and have you all to herself!
