My name is Boo. Im about 5 yrs old. I somehow found myself at the shelter earlier this year. I was scared and shut down. You see, I cant see. Im totally blind. I need a home that is low key. I dont do well with strangers, or cats. I will need time and a patient person and maybe a dog or two, to help me acclimate to a new environment. But once I do, Ill be the first one to greet you at the door in the evenings or after your trip to the store! I actually seem to enjoy car rides, tho I dont walk on a leash well at all. Once Im comfortable in my environment, Im very food motivated. I must be kept on heartworm prevention for the rest of my life as Ive already undergone heartworm treatment. Boo needs someone with a secure fence. One that is chain link or wooden. He can escape an aluminum bar fence. Boo will require some work, a bit of time, and most of all patience but in the end, hes very much worth it! Are you interested in adopting Boo or another JCAPL pet you have seen?
