Meet Skye, our HIPPOTATO MIX! Thats right! It's when you cross a hippo with a potato!!! HA! This adorable lady was surrendered to BCHS when her previous owner could no longer care for her. Skye is a beautiful blue brindle babe that loves to go for walkies and play tug of war. Her favorite thing in the world is stuffed animals! We are looking for a dog-experienced family that would be proactive and willing to help Skye overcome her intense love of food! During her behavior assessment, she displayed mild resource guarding over her food bowl, meaning that this lady doesn't like to be bothered when she is eating, and we totally get that! With that being said, Skye would not be suitable for younger kids. Skye is super bright and always keeps her kennel clean. She hasn't been cat tested yet, and she can be dog selective, so if you have a pupparoo, a meeting would be required to see if they are a good fit!By the way, she said: "ADOPT ME, and I'll be your BFF!
