Twyla is a short, wrinkly pup who is definitely unique! She's short in stature, wide bodied, wrinkles, with a shepherd looking head. We believe Twyla is the very definition of a Heinz 57 dog, however, that is not a breed option on these adoption sites. Twyla is very social and loves to be with people. She would make a great walking companion and definitely keep you warm during snowstorms and binge watching this winter. Twyla is estimated to be around 2 years old and currently weighs 42 lbs. Here at the shelter Twyla seems nervous around dogs and she tried to climb in her handler's lap to feel safe. When that didn't work she did politely let the dogs around her know that she was uncomfortable. It is possible that Twyla would be ok with a new dog friend if given time to get to know them.
