Stache is an adorable 2-year old male Tuxedo kitty who was surrendered by his owner on September 25, 2019.This handsome guy has a black-and-white medium smooth coat in a tuxedo pattern, a longer-haired white ruff on his chest, a long fluffy tail, and a darling face with 'come hither' eyes and the cutest white mustache. Stache has a charismatic outgoing personality. He got along well with children and dogs in his previous home.Stache has been combo tested and is negative for feline leukemia. Unfortunately, he tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) and is being listed as a 'Special Needs Cat' for that reason. A vigilant pet owner who treats secondary infections can assist an FIV-infected cat to live a reasonably long life. The chances that an FIV-infected cat will pass the virus to other cats within a household are slim to none if no serious fighting or biting occurs.Stache was given vaccinations, wormer, and flea treatment on September 25, 2019.Stache has a severe allergy to fleas and must be kept on flea treatment.Stache weighs 8.4 lbs. He has already been neutered, so he could leave the shelter immediately with an approved HSOV adoption application.
