Jer Bear is that handsome, good time, enjoyable guy that loves everyone and everyone loves him right back. This super cool dude is a year old, potty and crate trained, and walks like a dream on the leash. He is mellow, doesn't jump on people, and is an all around super chill fellow. As a matter of fact, he has never meet a person that he didn't vibe with! He has been hit-or-miss with other dogs so we think he would do best in a single dog home. Jer Bear loves plush toys, chasing tennis balls, and we can't confirm this, but we believe his favorite color is tie-dye. This free-spirited fellow will be glad to hang out with you on the couch, stroll around the neighborhood with you, or hang out at your favorite coffee shop enjoying his pup cup. Pup’s with the designated “meet me” next to their names are in CT and ready to attend adoption events. Please check with your adoption coordinator if you are interested in a specific dog prior to coming to an event, as a dog's availability to attend can change at any time. We can not guarantee approval on site at the events, so we recommend applying ahead of time. You can apply at the event, but the application process may not be able to be completed the same day. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event! The adoption fee is $500 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee. This dog tested positive for heartworms and has been treated in our care. If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
