Escandalosa translates to “scandalous”, and there is certainly a scandal afoot at PACC. The fact that this sweet lady is in the shelter and not in a forever home of her own is downright shocking!!! This beautiful pup had a pelvic fracture but has healed up well and would really like to move on out to a home.During a brief adoption Escandalosa was very calm in the house and was housebroken and crate- trained. Here’s what one volunteer said about her:“Escandalosa was excited in kennel but easy to leash. She was a bit jumpy as we first started to walk – clearly has a lot of young puppy energy to burn! She would be a great adventure/hiking/running/long walk buddy for sure. She sat very nicely for treats and took them respectfully from my hand. Easy return to kennel. Very sweet girl who was very friendly for our first time meeting each other!”Escandalosa has done well with other dogs in shelter and shares her kennel. When meeting other dogs in playgroup she was social and playful with the other pups, though she’d still like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit.
