Adopt Hank a Tricolor (Tan/Brown & Black & White) German Shepherd Dog / Mixed

Hank is a medium size neutered male German Shepherd that gets along with other dogs with slow introduction. No cats. Hank does pretty good with a gentle leader on walks but could use a bit more practice - especially when bunnies are around. He is scared of people in hats for unknown reasons but is getting better. He takes a little while to warm up to people. For this reason we would recommend no young children. He's not a fan of his kennel but is kennel trained and house broken. He has been trained to sit, stay, and lay down. UTD on vaccines, neutered, and chipped. He has lots of energy and loves to play fetch / keep away with his toys, loves walks, and playing in water. He also enjoys being brushed. He doesn’t like to have his nails cut tho. Hank would do well in a calm household of adults. His current family is not familiar with larger dogs and/or German Shepherds and have utilized yelling. grabbing his collar and the kennel as a punishment - Hank needs a little time and lots of love. We are working hard to find a loving home for Hank. Are you that family?
