Shiloh is a very special girl who is on the hunt for an equally amazing home! Shiloh is an incredibly sweet and gentle, 2-3 year old, petite (under 40 pounds) pittie mix who has overcome some major odds in her short life. Totally blind either since birth or shortly thereafter, she was reportedly found stray and spent almost a month in one of our local shelters before landing a foster home. While they may look different, her eyes are actually quite healthy and shouldn't cause her any issues later in life.Incredibly resilient, Shiloh mastered the layout of her foster home in about a week - now happily running from end to end, doing crazy zoomies at dinner time. She doesn't let her blindness hold her back and she will quickly jump up on the bed for belly rubs or on to the couch to relax and "watch" tv. Shiloh loves Nylabones and Kongs, basically any kind of treat, and a pup cup during car rides. She seems to enjoy the company of other dogs and is non-reactive to cats. Since she can't see normal behavioral cues, she would prefer a canine friend with a more relaxed play style. More than anything, she simply needs a loving and patient owner who understands that it might take her a little more time to get used to a new environment, promises not to move the furniture around frequently, doesn't have a million stairs to navigate, will provide her the stability and routine she needs to thrive, and can shower her with plenty of affection.
